Newberry County Economic Development

Newberry County Economic Development (NCED) is the official economic development organization for the county and operates as a department within the County of Newberry. NCED works with existing and prospective business and industry to facilitate investment and economic growth in the county. Our mission is to create quality jobs, increase the per capita income, and broaden the Newberry County tax base.

Directions:

From Interstate 26, take exit 76 (SC Highway 219). Go west on SC 219 towards the City of Newberry for approximately 4.7 miles (SC Highway 219 turns into Main Street after crossing US 76/Wilson Road.) As you approach downtown Newberry, take a right on Calhoun Street. Take the first left turn onto Martin Street. The building - a two-story, red brick structure formerly known as the Agricultural Building - is on the left. Parking is available in a public lot next to the building. The economic development office is on the second floor beside the elevator.
